Nightly céilís in St Brigid’s Hall are a big draw at the South Sligo Summer School each year with a cracking atmosphere and one great band after another, starting with the Swallows’ Tail on Sunday 15th. |
CD launches at our recitals and concerts during the week have become a very popular and much anticipated part of the week’s activities and this year we are thrilled to have fiddle players Declan Folan and James Carty, banjo player Shane Mulchrone and bodhrán tutor and box player Darragh Healy launch their respective albums at the summer school – with perhaps a few more surprises along the way.
